Nipigon, Ontario

Hi everyone,

We are now Canadianized up here, eh.   We are starting to feel like wolly mammoths envisioning their winters.  As we were travelling yesterday, I asked the young lady that was serving us breakfast what their winters were like.   She said, not bad, but kind of cold eh.   When I asked her how cold, she said it only stays cold for about a week or so at about 40 below then warms up for about two months to 15 below.  Now that is something tolerable.    Well since our last posting our adventure has continued in Canada.  We left off in Kenora as we were leaving the RV park.  We pulled out and parked the coach at the local Wal-Mart, disconnected the car and drove into town to see the murals that are painted on the sides of the buildings.   (more…)

Hi all,

There is a verse in the Bible that says, “Be quick to listen and slow to speak”.  I have tried to model this, but always find something to say.  I did however run into a gentleman in the park in Loveland that was one of the best listeners that I have ever run into.   He just sat and listened to me for hours and taught me many things.   He had a dark complexion, and I wasn’t sure of his nationality, probably a Coloradian.  (more…)
